During my recent stay at Zur Luppbode, I found myself pleasantly surprised by my experience. While the room was basic, it was clean and adequate for a night's stay. Each morning, I looked forward to a rather enjoyable breakfast spread; the ample selection catered well to my tastes - a true delight for anyone starting their day. One of the highlights of my visit was undoubtedly the restaurant. On one evening, I indulged in their flammkuchen, which was satisfying and captured the essence of local flavors. The ambiance was quaint, nestled within the historic building's charm, creating a relaxed dining atmosphere. Dolf, the English-speaking staff member, was instrumental in helping us navigate the local scene and finalize our plans for the Walpurgisnacht festival. I appreciated the kind attentiveness of all staff members, and the option for late arrival via a key safe added a level of convenience. Opening my window each morning to the gentle sounds of the river Luppbode was a lovely touch. If you seek a quaint getaway with a touch of culinary innovation, this charming spot is deserving of your consideration.
